Roofing in Anthem Hillside

Anthem Hillside is the elevated, view-oriented section of Anthem on the eastern slope of Daisy Mountain. The wind exposure up here is genuinely greater than the rest of the community — and the install detailing should reflect that.

What we see most on the Hillside

Tile across most homes, with newer infill builds carrying contemporary architecture and a higher share of standing seam metal and parapeted foam. The elevation matters: ridge tile sets and bird stops on windward elevations take more wind load than they would in Country Club or Parkside, and that's where we see the most monsoon damage.

Detailing we adjust for the Hillside

  • Manufacturer-spec enhanced fastening on all tile reinstalls.
  • Ridge and hip tile bedded with high-bond foam adhesive in addition to the mortar where the manufacturer allows it.
  • Wider flashings and stepped detail at parapet transitions on contemporary builds.
  • Self-adhered membrane in valleys and at penetrations rather than basic 30-pound felt.

The HOA architectural review process

Hillside requires architectural approval for visible roof material, profile, and color changes. We prepare the package — manufacturer specs, color samples, scope, schedule — and coordinate the approval before the install goes on the calendar.
